A Summer of Wild Learning

This isn’t your average summer camp. Journey Learning is an immersive, play-based, outdoor education experience rooted in the Prairie Sky philosophy of art, community, and nature. Each week, campers will:

  • Explore the natural world through science and land-based learning

  • Build real-world skills like teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership
  • Play, move, experiment, and make new friends—all outdoors!
Led by experienced Prairie Sky teachers and supported by qualified summer students, our camp blends joyful exploration with meaningful learning.

For Creative, Curious Kids Aged 5–12

Camp is open to the public! No need to be a Prairie Sky student—just a love of learning, playing, and being outdoors.

What to Pack Your Camper

Please pack your child with the following items daily:
  • Backpack
  • Bagged PEANUT/NUT-FREE lunch + 2 snacks (no fridge/microwave access)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen & bug spray
  • Sunhat
  • Running shoes
  • Water shoes & towel (for splash park days)
  • Swimsuit & full change of clothes
  • Inside shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (we play rain or shine!)
Label everything with your child’s name!

Camp Schedule

Camps activities run from 9:00am to 4:00pm every day with early drop off starting at 7:30am and last pick up by 5:15pm.

Outdoor-friendly clothes, proper shoes, and be ready for all weather. Inside shoes and a full change of clothes should be in their backpack.

Yes—this is an outdoor-first camp. We’ll provide shelter/shade when needed, but we spend the majority of the day outside.

Yes. Prairie Sky teachers (certified professionals) lead the camp with support from experienced summer students with a background in outdoor education.
